On this week’s installment of the CavsCorner Podcast, we talk briefly about UVa’s win in the Tip-Off Tournament last weekend but the majority of our time, as expected, is on Friday’s Commonwealth Cup clash against Virginia Tech. With the Coastal Division title on the line, we’ll get into breaking “The Streak,” discuss the matchup, and lay out the way we seeing this one going down in Charlottesville later this week.

On this week’s installment of the CavsCorner Podcast, we talk about No. 7 UVa’s win over Vermont on the hardwood before we preview the matchup in Charlottesville on Saturday afternoon when the Hoos host Liberty on the gridiron. Last night’s victory over the Catamounts says plenty about the Cavaliers and we dive into what we feel like we’ve really learned about this team so far this season. And then we transition over to football, where UVa will come off its bye week and host the Flames in a game that, for some, doesn’t matter all that much. The contrast against next week’s matchup with Virginia Tech is stark. Still, we’ll preview Saturday’s game and give your our picks on how we see things playing out.

On hardwood, the Hoos are 2-0 and giving up just 34 points per game but there are some concerns about the offense. We’ll dive into that before we talk football as the Cavaliers reach their second idle week with nearly three weeks between ACC games. So, we’ll get into what’s different about the offense and much more as the Wahoos look to prepare for the stretch run.
